Synergy Campus Ministries is a Christian college group that currently meets at Glad Tidings Assembly of God in Muncie, IN. Synergy is from the Greek word for “working together.” Essentially, synergy has come to be defined as “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts or individual efforts." Paul mentions this in his letter to the church at Corinth when he speaks about the body of Christ. In 1 Corinthians 12:12, Paul writes, “The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body.” The hand is nothing without the shoulder, while the foot is useless without the leg. These individual parts amount to very little by themselves, but when attached and as one body they become much greater. The same is true in our Christian walk. We will accomplish so much more in our own spiritual lives and in the lives of others when we come together as one (synergy)…united as the body of Christ.
